Improving the above the self-esteem, self-confidence are improved as well as the relationships among family members. Usually families who have children with learning or other disabilities & ADHD are facing problems – conflicts, because they may not know how to help or communicate with their children. Sometimes each parent follows a different line of upbringing (parents do not have a common goals and rules), which results in the child to receive contradictory messages and, ultimately, not to recognise limits, which he/she keeps exceeding, with well-known negative psycho-social and vocational consequences.
-
Therefore, the aim of Counselling Sessions is for family members to improve their communication and relationships and to improve the psycho-social adaptation of the child; this results in significantly enhancement of the child’s socialisation, self-confidence and school performance.
