We provide two biofeedback types for various aims and goals:
1. OPHTHALMOKINETIC BIOFEEDBACK
An internationally unique method, treatment with Ophthalmokinetic Biofeedback is performed in the form of a pleasant game on the P/C, using specialised photoelectronic systems-devices and our corresponding programmes, developed by Inventor-Professor Pavlidis.
Every time the child’s attention or impulsiveness urge them to become absent-minded or act impulsively, without thinking, their brain is informed immediately, within 3 milliseconds, through our internationally unique photoelectronic technology, for the ‘mistake’ they are about to make, thus returning them to their initial task-goal.
This way, the brain is trained to turn Unconscious Mistakes (=uncontrollable) to Conscious ones(=controllable). The result is that the brain, once it has become aware of them, can self-correct the mistakes. In other words, through the Ophthalmokinetic Biofeedback, the brain is trained to correct itself.
2. CALLIGRAPHY – DEXTERITY BIOFEEDBACK
An internationally unique exclusivity, the Pavlidis Method, has developed an effective system that uses advanced software and know-how, that is applied via TABLETS. This gives children the opportunity to improve both their attention and their writing style and to also develop/improve their dexterity that involves fine movements that are performed by small muscles (e.g., finger muscles) (Occupational Therapy).
The child draws on the TABLET while developing its fine motor skills. While drawing, through our advanced and exclusive technology, the child’s brain is immediately and automatically informed about unconscious-mistaken clumsy movements; this way, what is unconscious becomes conscious, as the child immediately perceives his mistake.
This is how we achieve concurrently to improve:
- Attention focusing
- Writing style
- Fine motor skills-dexterity.
In other words, in addition to Ophthalmokinetic Biofeedback, we also offer biofeedback for finger movements. Some children, particularly those with ADHD, are clumsy both in fine (finger) movements and larger movements by bigger muscles of the body (e.g. lower and upper arms). We are particularly interested in fine finger movements, because it increases finger dexterity and improves the quality of writing.
Even the best teacher cannot have the necessary instantaneous speed required to perceive-anticipate the imminent erroneous movement of the pupil’s hand while he is writing so as to deter ‘bad writing’. Our instantaneous ultra-fast electronic system-method can achieve this, thanks to the advanced, pleasant and truly safe biofeedback technology we have developed.
